New Partnerships Announced
We are delighted to announce two new young musicians who have now joined the scheme: mezzo-soprano Anna Huntley who will be mentored by Austrian mezzo-soprano Angelika Kirchschlager, and young mentee pianist Clare Hammond who will join forces with French pianist Anne Queffélec. Anna and Clare join pianist Richard Uttley on the scheme, who is currently mentored by Rolf Hind.
The Philip Langridge Mentoring Scheme was established by the Royal Philharmonic Society and Young Classical Artists Trust in memory of the great British tenor Philip Langridge and pairs the UK’s finest young performers with leading musicians. Previous participants have included pianists Alexandra Dariescu and Imogen Cooper, singers Kathryn Rudge and Ann Murray, and cellists Philip Higham and Steven Isserlis, who have worked together in a private exchange of musical ideas and experience.
